Ketchikan is the southeastern most city in Alaska. With an estimated population of 8,050 in 2010 it is the fifth-most populous city in the state. Ketchikan has two major industrys: tourism and fishing.  With almost one million tourists a year visiting Ketchikan, it’s best to plan your activities in advance.  Our Duck and Hummer tours frequently sell out before your ship arrives in Ketchikan and booking in advance ensures that your plans are set.
Ketchikan is known as the “Salmon Capital of the World.” Ketchikan boasts the world’s largest collection of standing totem poles, found throughout the city and at three major locations: Saxman Native Village, Totem Bight State Park and the Totem Heritage Center. Most of the totems at the two parks are replicas of older poles, while the Heritage Center displays preserved 19th century poles.
Our most recommend tour is our Alaskan Hummer Adventures, Being on a private guided tour is the best way to see everything the city of Ketchikan has to offer. However, if you are on a budget, our Ketchikan Duck tours will also provide an overview of the city and our our captains and guides provide plenty of entertainment along the way.
