The Ketchikan Duck Tour shows you everything Ketchikan has to offer in about 90 min. Our USCG certified captains drive our Alaskan Ducks on the land and then steer them through the channel after driving them directly into the ocean at the harbor.
We cover all the highlights of town. We will see some real Native Alaskan totem poles that are carved right here in Ketchikan.
We travel by one of the most historic parts of Ketchikan: Creek Street. It’s a wooden boardwalk built over pilings, right over Ketchikan Creek. This is a popular spot with lots of history and also a great place where locals go to fish.
Dolly’s House is located on Creek Street and is one of the most historical buildings in Ketchikan. Dolly was the madam here at one of the last homes of negotiable affection. It’s not rare for some of the working girls to come out and wave at our Alaskan Ducks.
After the historical city tour we drive the duck into the ocean and while out in the channel we go by the salmon hatcheries and the local fishing fleet. We give you a lesson on the 5 different types of Salmon we have here in Alaska
All of our Ducks have windows that open and close. There is a captain and a guide on every Duck. Tours are approximately 90 min in duration.
