About the Tour
Skagway is filled with Gold Rush Landmarks from 1897-1898. At one time, Skagway city had more than 80 saloons and a red light district was across the entire settlement; this unscrupulous Klondike boom town holds the ghosts of men and women haunted by gold. Desperate men gambled in dusty back rooms while savy soiled doves traded love for loneliness in exchange for one pinch of a sourdough’s poke. Prickly gunmen walked these streets, and all these characters can be found nowhere else on earth.
Earth’s true majesty surrounds the Klondike Highway and nestles the famous Yukon & White Pass railroad as you ascend to the summit where Jack London himself once stood. Come hungry; come thirsty; come cold. Just don’t come for the gold. This is the truely the Last Frontier.
Pickup and Dropoff Locations
Ships arrive in Skagway at one of three docks: Railroad Dock, Broadway Dock and Ore Dock. Buses pick up guests in designated waiting areas near these docks. Disembarking may take some time. Be prepared to leave your ship with enough time to make your way off and find the waiting area.
After exiting your ship, walk past the security check point to the waiting area. A representative will be waiting in a red jacket holding a sign for Skagway Tours. If you have trouble finding the representative, please call Skagway Tours Dispatch at (907)723-4182 and we will point you in the right direction.
