About this Tour
Take a deep dive into Skagway history that is both fun and informative. Past and present history comes alive as you roll slowly through town and out to the Gold Rush Cemetary. Preserved as it was 100 years ago when Soapy Smith and his gang ruled Skagway, the cemetary provides the perfect setting for the telling of the epic showdown, Skagway’s own version of the OK Corral. From there, the adventurous can join their guide for a short hike (500 yards) to Lower Reid Falls, a spectacular example of Alaskan landscape and one of the most photgraphed locations in town. The last stop on the tour is the scenic overlook with a 260 degree panoramic view of all 160 acres of Skagway. Snap a photo with your ship in the background.
